Shadowboxes

One of the services for which Penland's is best known is the art of shadowboxing.  Realizing that  items requiring a shadowbox are some of the most special, the entire staff is involved in creating boxes of unique design and distincion.  Our designs are set apart by the many elements added to the original items to bring dimension and originality to each box.   Using our talents in sculpture, geometry, and layout, along with our understanding of color, we're able to bring to bear some outstanding finished shadowboxes.  Some of our clients are famous sports figures and we're proud to have worked personally with them.  We've also framed items belongingto the Royal Family!  We so enjoy this type of work!  Please ask us about the protection and display of your treasured pieces!
